Glee Club Success

Chobham Academy have seized the opportunity to showcase students’ talents within their Performing Arts specialism by taking part in the Glee Club Challenge 2016. After impressing a visiting adjuicator during their audition rehearsal, Chobham’s Glee Club soon found themselves at ‘Bootcamp’. Here they were put under their paces by a number of industry experts who complimented them on their cohesion and commitment. At the regional finals at the Broadway Theatre in Barking, students continued to impress and secured a place at the national final. This will be held at the O2 Indigo. The Glee Club has sixteen members who range from Years eight to thirteen. They hope that their performance of “Proud Mary” and “RnB Mash-up” will lead them to victory!
