Results and Destinations
Destinations
At Harris Academy Chobham Sixth Form we believe that all destinations matter, with this in mind we want to support our students with the destination of their choosing – whether it be UCAS or applying for an Apprenticeship. All members of the Sixth Form Team know the demands of choosing a destination and can provide support and guidance alongside our Careers Advisor on ‘the next steps’ and making the ‘right choice’ for an individual. We pride ourselves on knowing our Sixth Form students, so we can support them to make the decision that is right solely to them.
UCAS
With the majority of our students attending Higher Education, we take students through the entire UCAS process with help including
- Selecting the most appropriate five choices for university
- How to select a conditional and insurance offer
- How to write a personal statement
- How to apply for student finance
- What to do on the day if they have not met their offer with dedicated staff going through clearing with the students
- What to do on the day if they have exceeded their original offer and would like to apply elsewhere

Apprenticeships
With more and more young people choosing to undertake Apprenticeships, we believe it is vital to help support our students with Apprenticeship applications and helping them find the right apprenticeship for them. With this in mind, not only do all students looking to apply for an apprenticeship receive one to one support with our designated Career’s Advisor through every stage of application as well as the opportunity to attend bespoke careers days to each student’s needs. We also support students to try and find degree apprenticeships if they so wish – which are in high demand due to the limited opportunities to obtain one.
