Royal Wedding Party
On Friday 18th May, we will be celebrating the royal wedding in the academy by dressing to impress and holding a street party in the afternoon. During the week leading up to the event and on the morning on Friday 18th May, we will be creating decorations on the theme of the royal wedding. We will also take the opportunity to learn a bit more about the history of our royal family. On the day, children (and staff!) should come dressed in their party clothes to help celebrate this special occasion. We would love this to be a community event so if you are available to help on the day to set up or run some activities for the children as part of our celebrations, please let me know via email f.perry@chobhamacademy.org.uk
As a special one off treat, we will be diverting from our usual Healthy Schools standards and we will be serving traditional party food at the street party in the afternoon. Class teachers will contact parents nearer the time to ask for donations. If you would prefer your child not to eat sugary food at the party, please let their class teacher know and we will arrange an alternative.
