Student journalists visit BBC Radio 1

‘On Tuesday 15th March, Chobham Academy’s BBC News Report team, a group of 10 enthusiastic journalists, visited the BBC broadcasting House in Oxford Circus. We looked around many of the facilities , such as the radio studios and the TV sets and had a chance to play radio jingles and songs. We were also fortunate enough to have a meeting with two BBC journalists, who gave us insight into the challenging nature of journalism and suggested tips for finding and creating our own stories. We will definitely be using their advice moving forward with our club and our own writing.’
