Ofqual Visit
On Thursday 21st April Dr Jo Saxton, Ofqual Chief Regulator, and some members of her team visited the Academy.
Following the visit Dr Jo Saxton, said: "It was great meet and talk to students across primary and secondary, as well as staff, at Harris Academy Chobham in Newham.
Students were clear how pleased they are to be back at school, and how well they had been served by the school during the pandemic. A number of those in exam year groups said how they appreciated the advance information, provided by exam boards, to help focus their revision for GCSE and A level exams. They described it as having given them back agency. It was good to hear this – advance information is just one part of a package of unprecedented support we have put in place this year for students.
I would like to wish Harris Academy Chobham students all the best when they sit their assessment and exams from next month."
We would like to thank Dr Jo Saxton and her team for their time and for a useful visit.
