Open Evening

Dear Parents/Carers and Year 11 Students,

In this most unusual of years we will not be able to welcome you at Chobham as we normally would to view the school before your family makes its choice of Sixth Form.  Nonetheless, even without the opportunity of a physical visit, we want you to have as much information as possible to enable you to make the best choice.  Selecting and starting a Sixth Form remains a crucial phase in life for children whatever else may be happening around us.

At Chobham, we are exceptionally proud of our school and all that it has to offer. We have placed a number of videos and other resources on this page to help you and your children learn more about us:

  • A video featuring some of our Year 12 students showing their life at school. This video was filmed, edited and directed by Year 12 students.
  • A video detailing all the information relating to applying to the Sixth Form
  • A video detailing all information relating to Harris Experience Advanced and the Oxbridge group
  • Our general school promotional video
  • The Sixth Form entry requirements
  • The Sixth Form dress code

Students should apply for Sixth Form places in 2021 via the online application form by clicking here. The closing date for applications is the 30th April 2021. Conditional offer letters will be sent to students by June 1st and conditional offer letter holders will be requested to attend the enrolment day on Friday 27th August.

We absolutely value every application to Chobham and sincerely hope you consider choosing our school. We also hope that you enjoy the resources we have provided and find them interesting and helpful.

A further question and answer session will take place in January 2021 and parents/students will be invited to attend this session if they have applied for a place at the Sixth Form.

If you have any additional questions after reviewing these resources, then please email s.rees@chobhamacademy.org.uk.

Best wishes.

Yours sincerely,

2
